Mid-Level Front-End Developer – Cape Town

About the role

We are seeking a mid‑level Front‑End Developer to join a fast‑growing technical agency in Cape Town. You will build modern, responsive web applications and take ownership of features from design through to deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance client‑facing web applications.
• Transform UI designs and technical specifications into clean, responsive, accessible front‑end code.
• Integrate dynamic content using a headless CMS and manage third‑party API integrations.
• Debug and resolve front‑end issues, ensuring performance, usability and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with designers and back‑end developers, participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional front‑end development experience.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript fundamentals.
• Proven production experience with JavaScript frameworks, preferably Nuxt.js.
• Experience with Git and working in established codebases.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively.
• Based in Cape Town or willing to work on‑site.
