Microsoft 365 Specialist (Cape Town, Northern Suburbs)

About the role

Deliver support and maintenance services, managing, configuring and optimizing cloud productivity, collaboration and security services for the organization and its customers.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support M365 core services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive and the Power Platform.
• Manage user provisioning, licensing, security groups, and authentication flows via Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).
• Resolve complex user and system issues regarding mail flow, Teams call quality, SharePoint permissions, and access blocks.
• Implement and monitor governance rules, data loss prevention (DLP) policies and threat management using Microsoft Purview and Defender.
• Build automation scripts via PowerShell and streamline business workflows using Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Create standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical guides and end‑user training materials to drive platform adoption.

Required profile

• Matric qualification.
• Microsoft 365 Administrator (Expert) (MS102) or other appropriate M365 certifications.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience administering Microsoft 365 enterprise environments.

• Azure Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID.
• PowerShell scripting.
