Senior ICT Specialist – Electrical & Data Center

About the role

The Senior ICT Specialist will lead the design, integration and commissioning of electrical and data‑center ICT systems for built‑environment projects. Working under broad supervision, you will collaborate with architects, engineers and project managers to deliver reliable, secure infrastructure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop ICT systems including network infrastructure, building management, CCTV, access control and security solutions.
• Create detailed technical specifications, drawings and documentation for structured cabling, fibre‑optic, LAN/WAN and Wi‑Fi networks.
• Conduct site surveys, oversee installation, testing and commissioning of data‑center and communications rooms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in existing systems, providing guidance to junior ICT specialists.
• Stay current with emerging ICT technologies and industry standards.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification from an accredited institution.
• Relevant ICT design certifications or registrations.
• Minimum 8 years of ICT engineering design experience within the built environment.
