Marketing Coordinator – Global Asset Management

About the role

We are seeking a creative Marketing Coordinator to join a dynamic global asset management firm operating across South Africa, the UK and the US. This fully on‑site position in Johannesburg offers a hands‑on opportunity to develop and execute marketing strategies, campaigns and content while managing projects from concept to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute ideas and marketing value to campaigns while keeping projects on track.
• Manage traditional and digital marketing projects and campaigns from concept through execution.
• Liaise with external agencies on relevant projects.
• Design and produce marketing materials such as investment memorandums, brochures, mailers, presentations and fact sheets.
• Create marketing content including social media posts, newsletters and basic video edits.
• Own and maintain digital stationery, email footers, letterheads and corporate identity assets.
• Edit and maintain the corporate website using WordPress.
• Monitor and manage LinkedIn and other social media accounts, publishing content and engaging the community.
• Maintain marketing databases that support client relationships.
• Conduct market and competitor research to inform marketing activity.
• Help plan and coordinate events, including supplier management.
• Gather and report on social media and website analytics.

Required profile

• A relevant degree (preferably BCom Marketing) with strong academic results.
• Approximately 5 years of marketing experience, preferably in financial services.
• Demonstrated track record of high achievement.
• Exceptional written English with excellent proofreading skills.
• Strong project‑management, organisational and interpersonal abilities.
• Proactive, resilient and able to work independently under pressure.
• Genuine interest in investing, alternative assets and private markets.

• Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Adobe Premiere Pro (video editing) – advantageous.
