Manual Software Tester – Hybrid (Johannesburg)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Manual Software Tester to join our team in Bryanston, Johannesburg. The role focuses on manual testing while offering exposure to automation tools, and operates in a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse requirements and design comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
• Execute functional, regression, integration and user‑acceptance tests.
• Log defects, assess risks and provide clear feedback to development teams.
• Maintain and update test documentation throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Matriculation plus ISTQB certification and/or an IT degree preferred.
• Strong manual testing expertise with the ability to create and maintain test cases.
• Basic exposure to automation testing tools and frameworks.
