Litigation Attorney – Remote (US EST Hours)

About the role

We are a US‑based law firm seeking a qualified South African attorney to join our international team in a long‑term, remote litigation role. You will work closely with US attorneys, handling civil and commercial matters while gaining exposure to cross‑border legal issues.

Key responsibilities

• Draft legal correspondence, pleadings, and other court documents.
• Conduct legal research and case analysis for active litigation matters.
• Manage litigation files, timelines, and discovery processes.
• Communicate with clients and provide support throughout case preparation.
• Assist with matters involving breach of contract, unjust enrichment, misrepresentation, and commercial disputes.

Required profile

• Admitted South African attorney with at least 3 years of civil/commercial litigation experience.
• Professional, personable, and team‑oriented with strong client interaction skills.
• Available to work US EST hours (09:00‑17:00).
• High‑speed internet (minimum 50 Mbps) and a suitable remote working environment.
