About the role
Econofoods, a fast‑growing FMCG retailer specializing in frozen foods, is looking for a dynamic Key Accounts Manager to lead its wholesale channel. You will be the primary contact for key wholesale customers, driving sales growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and expanding market presence.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and grow turnover, gross profit and basket size within assigned accounts.
- Identify new sales opportunities, develop strategic growth plans and drive product penetration, promotional participation and category expansion.
- Negotiate pricing, trading terms, service level agreements and promotional agreements within approved parameters.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers, conduct regular customer visits and business reviews, and develop account plans for strategic customers.
- Resolve customer concerns and escalations promptly, acting as the voice of the customer within the business.
- Prospect and secure new wholesale key account customers, monitor market trends and competitor activity, and expand product and service offerings.
