About the role

Join Discover Africa Safaris as a Senior Africa Safari Expert and turn your passion for Africa’s landscapes, cultures, and wildlife into unforgettable travel experiences. Based in the northern suburbs of Cape Town, you will design and deliver bespoke luxury safaris that inspire and delight clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design tailor‑made safari itineraries using deep knowledge of Southern and East African destinations.
• Manage the full client journey from initial inquiry through post‑travel follow‑up.
• Oversee bookings, payments, logistics and documentation with meticulous attention to detail.
• Create “wow” moments that exceed client expectations and generate repeat business.
• Achieve monthly sales targets while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Required profile

• Minimum tertiary qualification in Travel and Tourism.
• 5+ years of experience selling African safaris or similar tourism products.
• Proven sales record with direct client interaction.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Travelyst.
• Experience using WETU.
• Competence in Google Workspace.
