Interim Finance Manager – Newly Qualified CA (Rosebank)

About the role

We are looking for a newly qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with exposure to the property/real‑estate sector to join our dynamic finance team in Rosebank. The interim Finance Manager will support the financial management, reporting and analysis of both the business and its property portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts, journal entries, accruals and year‑end close processes.
• Manage property accounting – monitor rental income, operating expenses, tenant/landlord reconciliations and property budgets.
• Assist with annual budgeting, financial forecasting, cash‑flow forecasting and variance analysis.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, prepare audit files and ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT and other statutory requirements.
• Perform financial analysis, build models and support business‑case evaluations for property acquisitions, disposals and developments.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant – CA(SA) or recently completed SAICA articles, eligible for registration.
• 1–2 years post‑articles experience, preferably with property or real‑estate exposure.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, IFRS and preparation of annual financial statements.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and financial analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with property management or ERP systems is advantageous.
