About the role
MiwayLife is seeking a proactive Human Resources Assistant to support its HR administration for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will work closely with the HR team to ensure smooth recruitment, onboarding, and employee services within a fast‑moving financial services environment.
Key responsibilities
- Advertise vacancies on recruitment portals and manage shortlisting.
- Coordinate interview schedules, assessments, and orientation sessions.
- Prepare and send regret communications to unsuccessful candidates.
- Handle onboarding and off‑boarding processes, including background and risk checks.
- Respond to employee enquiries related to HR processes.
- Compile monthly HR reports and maintain HR diaries.
- Draft letters for industrial relations matters and support general office management.
- Assist with HR projects and provide ad‑hoc support as needed.
Required profile
- Human Resources related qualification (or Grade 12 with relevant experience).
- 2–3 years of HR administration experience.
- Understanding of HR processes, recruitment, and employee lifecycle.
- Strong confidentiality and interpersonal skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
