HR Consultant

About the role

Hollywoodbets is seeking an HR Consultant to join its Purple Team. You will support workforce planning, succession planning and industrial relations while driving recruitment, onboarding and performance management processes across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for middle‑management positions, including drafting adverts, shortlisting, interviewing and conducting pre‑employment checks.
• Oversee onboarding and induction, ensuring new hires are fully integrated and payroll details are submitted on time.
• Develop and maintain accurate employee files and documentation.
• Support performance management by creating job descriptions, facilitating evaluations and ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Assist with workforce and succession planning and provide guidance on industrial relations matters.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence.
• 2‑3 years experience in an HR consulting or equivalent role.
• Diploma or degree in HR, Business Administration or related field, or currently studying.
• Knowledge of South African labour legislation (EE Act, BCEA, Labour Relations Act) is a plus.
