About the role

Habit Health, a nationwide provider in the rehabilitation sector, is seeking an HR Advisor for its Wellington Head Office. This intermediate‑level role blends generalist HR duties with employee‑relations expertise while offering exposure to the full HR lifecycle through professional development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with a portfolio of business units to address operational HR needs.
• Lead or contribute to HR projects aligned with the strategic plan.
• Improve HR systems and procedures, adding value to existing processes.
• Manage queries via a shared inbox and the ELMO HR system, ensuring responses comply with policies, legislation, and employment agreements.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience as an HR Advisor covering all generalist HR functions.
• Strong relationship‑building skills across all organisational levels.
• Proactive, hands‑on attitude in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent organisational abilities with a track record of meeting tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience using the ELMO HR system.
