Head of Finance Reporting & Analysis – Personal & Private Banking

About the role

This senior finance position within Liberty’s Personal and Private Banking Group will translate the group’s finance strategy into concrete actions and ensure effective implementation across the business. The role provides vision, direction and strong support to the financial management team, enabling the business to achieve its strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the financial management team, fostering excellence, accountability and a value‑management philosophy.
• Oversee day‑to‑day financial operations while identifying opportunities for optimisation and strategic alignment.
• Instill best practices in financial planning, reporting and analysis, and champion continuous process improvement.
• Interpret and communicate complex financial and non‑financial data, turning raw data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
• Analyse root causes of variances, apply statistical and mathematical techniques, and ensure robust governance and quality of financial reporting.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree in Finance and Accounting; Chartered Accountant (SA) designation highly preferred.
• 8‑10 years of progressive finance experience, including substantial leadership of finance teams.
• Proven track record in tax, reporting, forecasting and multi‑jurisdictional finance management.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and present financial information to senior leadership.
• Strong behavioural competencies such as challenging ideas, influencing others, embracing change and making sound decisions.
