Financial Adviser – Bellville

About the role

Sanlam Life Ltd is seeking a Financial Adviser to serve new and existing clients in Bellville. The role focuses on delivering professional financial advice, planning and product solutions while building long‑term relationships that support the Sanlam brand.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tailored financial advice, conduct needs analysis and present suitable solutions in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Grow the Sanlam adviser business by meeting revenue targets, activity quotas and promoting the brand.
• Network, prospect and generate leads through face‑to‑face interactions, social media and existing client referrals.
• Maintain and service client portfolios, ensuring ethical and courteous interactions and annual reviews.
• Document client contacts, appointments, revenue and update records in the workflow system on a weekly/monthly basis.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification and successful completion of the FAIS “Fit and Proper” regulatory examination.
• At least 24 months registration with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA).
• Strong communication, tech‑savvy, action‑oriented and persuasive interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to treating customers fairly and adhering to compliance and risk management standards.
