Financial Accountant – Melrose (JHB North)

About the role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Financial Accountant to join our finance team in Melrose, Johannesburg North. The role is hands‑on, focused on accuracy and delivering reliable financial information to support business decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash balances.
- Manage debtor and creditor accounts, ensuring timely processing and resolution.
- Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
Required profile
- Relevant B‑degree (minimum) in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 3–4 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
- South African citizenship is mandatory.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Xero accounting software.
- Experience using Sage Evolution.

- Competitive total cash compensation ranging from R360 000 to R480 000 per annum.
