Financial Accountant – Full or Half‑Day Role in George

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join a well‑established industrial business in George. The role can be performed on a half‑day or full‑time basis, offering the chance to own the complete bookkeeping function and support month‑end accounting in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Full bookkeeping from source documents to trial balance
• Large‑volume bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
• Month‑end accounting support and financial reporting assistance
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance

Required profile

• Matric qualification
• Diploma in Accounting/Bookkeeping or BCom Accounting (advantageous)
• 3–8 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong bookkeeping‑to‑trial‑balance experience
• Extensive bank reconciliation experience
• Stable employment track record
• Resides in George or surrounding areas

Required skills

• Proven QuickBooks experience (non‑negotiable)
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills

What we offer

• Half‑day position at R20 000 per month
• Full‑time position at R35 000 per month
• Immediate start preferred
• Training commences 22 June 2026
