F&B Service Expert

About the role

Join the team at Protea Hotel Fire & Ice! Johannesburg as an F&B Service Expert. You will help create memorable guest experiences by delivering attentive service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and supporting the smooth operation of the restaurant and bar areas.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and arrange tables, ensuring proper presentation for service.
• Communicate with the kitchen staff to coordinate orders and timing.
• Serve guests promptly, answer menu questions, and handle billing.
• Maintain clean and organized work and storage areas throughout the shift.
• Follow safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards at all times.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and arranging items up to 50 lb without assistance.

Required profile

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Less than one year of relevant hospitality experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work on your feet for long periods and navigate varied surfaces.
