About the role
The Export and Key Account Management (KAM) Business Development Manager will drive FUSO truck sales across the Southern African region. Reporting to FUSO leadership, you will partner with general distributors and dealers to achieve sales targets while ensuring compliance with corporate integrity and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Lead export, group, retail and KAM sales performance across the distributor network, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
- Monitor and manage dealer and distributor stock levels, WIP reports, showroom compliance, and inventory aging.
- Support distributors in customer negotiations, representing the manufacturer to strengthen market presence.
- Develop and execute action plans with general distributors to improve performance and align with FUSO directives.
- Oversee pipeline and stock controls in line with the new distribution policy and order schedules.
Required profile
- Proven experience in commercial vehicle sales or business development within a B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of export sales processes and key account management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with distributors and internal stakeholders.
- Commitment to compliance with anti‑bribery, conflict of interest, and SHERQ standards.
