Insurance Broker – Sales & Business Development

About the role

OUTsurance is looking for a dynamic Insurance Broker to join its Centurion team. You will be responsible for expanding the short‑term insurance portfolio by selling both personal and commercial lines, while delivering a high‑quality customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow a book of short‑term insurance business.
• Prospect, canvass and generate new sales leads for personal and commercial lines.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the broker tied‑agent model.
• Collaborate with the sales support function and adhere to company processes.

Required profile

• Completed Matric (National Senior Certificate).
• Own reliable vehicle with uninterrupted access and a valid Code B driver’s licence.
• Minimum 3 years of external, face‑to‑face sales experience.
• Self‑starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Resilient, adaptable and able to work under pressure.
• Team player who can also work independently and accept feedback.
