Electrical Site Manager

About the role

You will lead electrical works on prestigious commercial projects for high‑profile clients, building and managing a high‑performing on‑site team. The role spans the full project lifecycle, from design and planning through to commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for electrical projects, including reticulation, layout and fitting.
• Interpret and apply building drawings and specifications.
• Manage and coordinate on‑site electrical teams, ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Travel to various sites as required to oversee progress and resolve issues.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of experience in a construction or building environment.
• Valid 3‑phase wireman’s licence.
• Strong, assertive leadership style with proven project‑management experience.
• South African residency or a valid work permit.

Required skills

• Low‑Voltage (LV), Medium‑Voltage (MV) and High‑Voltage (HV) systems.
• Electrical reticulation and layout/fitting expertise.
• Ability to read and interpret building drawings.
• 3‑phase wireman’s licence.
• Project management.
