General Foreman – Construction Site Lead

About the role

The General Foreman will lead daily on‑site operations for commercial and residential construction projects in the Western Cape. Reporting directly to project management, the role ensures that work is delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily on‑site activities and coordinate labour, subcontractors and materials.
• Enforce health and safety regulations and monitor site safety compliance.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet quality standards.
• Report progress, issues and milestones to project management.

Required profile

• 15+ years proven experience as a General Foreman or Senior Foreman.
• Minimum NQF4/5 qualification; NQF6 advantageous.
• Residency in the Western Cape.
• Solid experience in both commercial and residential construction, including structural, wet trades and finishing.
• Strong leadership and site supervision abilities with a focus on timelines and quality.
• Good understanding of construction drawings and site safety requirements.
