Director - Forensic Delay Analysis

About the role

HKA is seeking a Director to lead complex forensic delay analysis commissions. The role combines senior leadership, commercial oversight, and technical excellence to deliver high‑value outcomes for public and private sector clients.

Key responsibilities

• Independently formulate, lead and deliver complex or multiple forensic delay analysis assignments.
• Manage and oversee multiple commissions, allocate responsibilities and uphold delivery standards.
• Provide operational leadership, select new team members, mentor colleagues and build high‑performing teams.
• Build, manage and expand client relationships, identify opportunities for additional HKA services and support key account management.
• Drive business development and marketing activities, prepare bids and proposals, represent HKA at industry events and produce thought‑leadership content.
• Proactively manage business and commercial risks, contribute to budgeting, ensure cash collection and drive profitability.

Required profile

• Senior leadership experience with a track record of delivering large‑scale consulting projects.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring and developing consulting talent.
