Customer Concierge – Operations Sales Agent

About the role

The Customer Concierge – Operations Sales Agent will act as a dynamic brand ambassador, delivering an exceptional sales experience while supporting customers with enquiries and applications. Reporting to the Operations Call Centre Team Leader, you will help meet monthly targets and enhance the overall client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales productivity standards, KPIs and financial targets.
• Multi‑task new, in‑progress and decisioned applications in a structured manner.
• Contact customers to request additional documentation and drive sales conversion.
• Maintain in‑depth knowledge of Tyme Bank products and communicate them via phone and online channels.
• Follow company rules, compliance and KYC guidelines.
• Provide feedback on applications, relay decisions and resolve complaints.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and meet strict turnaround times.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients across all communication channels.

Required profile

• Matric qualification with 1‑5 years of outbound or e‑commerce sales experience.
• Proven experience in sales applications; banking services experience is a plus.
• Understanding of compliance and KYC is advantageous.
• Ability to handle difficult customers professionally.
• Strong drive, creativity, flexibility and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel.
• Advanced business writing and conversational abilities.
• Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute.
• Familiarity with AI and data analytics tools (advantageous).
