Construction Manager

About the role

Bilionetworks is looking for a highly competent Construction Manager to lead civil and telecommunications infrastructure projects, including trenching, duct installation and fibre deployment. The role involves full site execution, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and client specifications are met.

Key responsibilities

• Full‑time site management and supervision of daily construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety (OHS Act & Construction Regulations), environmental and quality standards.
• Manage and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, plant, materials and logistics.
• Maintain daily site diaries, progress reports, programmes, quality and inspection records.
• Lead site, progress and safety meetings.
• Monitor programme performance, identify risks, drive productivity and act as primary site representative between contractor, project manager and client.

Required profile

• Registration with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) – preferred.
• Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Built Environment.
• 5–10 years’ construction experience, with at least 3 years in a senior site management role.
• Proven experience in civil works (trenching, reinstatement, ducting) and fibre‑optic/telecommunications infrastructure.
• Valid driver’s licence.
