EPC Project Manager (Owner’s Representative)

About the role

As an Owner’s Representative you will lead the relationship between SEGULA Technologies and EPC contractors on large‑scale industrial projects valued between R600 million and R1 billion. You will ensure that engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning phases are delivered on time, within budget and to the required technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary interface with EPC contractors, overseeing all project phases.
• Monitor contractor performance, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Review, challenge and validate EPC deliverables, methodologies and execution plans.
• Supervise construction activities, ensuring compliance with HSE, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and progress assessments, validating milestones and completion criteria.
• Approve engineering designs, studies and technical documentation across process, mechanical, electrical and control systems.
• Support contract administration, variations, claims and change orders, and validate payment milestones.
• Assist in EPC selection, feasibility studies and early‑stage project structuring.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Process, Electrical or Project Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in an EPC environment.
• Proven experience managing large industrial projects and EPC contracts.
