Commercial Director – Hospitality Portfolio

About the role

A leading aparthotel group in Sandton is seeking a senior Commercial Director to own revenue, hospitality, distribution and forecasting across multiple properties. The role blends revenue‑management expertise with strong sales and marketing leadership to maximise profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Drive overall commercial and revenue performance across the portfolio.
• Lead pricing, forecasting, inventory control and yield optimisation strategies.
• Integrate revenue, sales and marketing initiatives for maximum profitability.
• Optimise distribution across OTAs, corporate accounts, direct channels and GDS platforms.
• Analyse channel performance, forecasting accuracy and revenue analytics.
• Build and manage key corporate, TMC and strategic partnerships.
• Deliver data‑driven commercial reporting to ownership and stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5–10 years senior commercial experience in hospitality, aparthotels or lifestyle property groups.
• Proven hands‑on revenue management experience.
• Multi‑property or cluster commercial leadership experience.
• Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, occupancy, ADR and profitability.
• Experience in both revenue management and sales leadership within hospitality.
• Strong stakeholder, investor and corporate relationship management skills.
• Previous branded hotel group experience is advantageous.
