Cloud Security/DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Security/DevOps Engineer to design, implement and maintain secure, scalable cloud environments on AWS and Azure. The role combines cloud engineering expertise with a strong security focus, automation, and a passion for building resilient, compliant systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud architectures across AWS and Azure.
• Build and manage multi‑account AWS environments with robust governance controls.
• Develop, enforce and continuously improve security standards, policies and guardrails aligned with frameworks such as NIST, CIS and ISO 27001.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Evaluate, integrate and operate cloud security tools (e.g., Prisma Cloud, Cortex, Microsoft Defender for Cloud).
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Support secure design of cloud‑native applications and workloads, including Kubernetes and Docker.
• Provide observability solutions for logging, monitoring and alerting.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of AWS security services (IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail, Config) and Azure security services (Defender for Cloud, Entra ID, Policy, Sentinel).
• Experience with CSPM/CNAPP platforms and cloud governance frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Ability to work in agile, cross‑functional teams.
• Relevant BSc/BEng/BTech degree and cloud security certifications (AWS, Azure).
