Business Development Manager – Healthcare

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth for a UK‑based healthcare workforce solutions provider. The role focuses on building new client relationships across NHS and private healthcare organisations, securing contracts and expanding the portfolio in the healthcare and social care sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Generate new business through cold calling, networking and relationship building.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of NHS and private healthcare clients.
- Attend client meetings and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align staffing solutions with client needs.
- Maintain strong client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
- Provide monthly sales and pipeline reports to leadership.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of experience in UK healthcare recruitment or staffing sales.
- Strong understanding of NHS and private healthcare staffing.
- Experience with frameworks, Preferred Supplier Lists (PSLs) and procurement processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
- Commercially driven and target focused.
- In‑depth knowledge of the UK healthcare market.
