Business Analyst – 12‑Month Contract (Cape Town)

About the role

Are you an experienced Business Analyst with strong Asset Management and Systems Analysis experience? We are looking for a skilled BA to join a dynamic team in Cape Town and play a key role in analysing business requirements, improving systems and delivering technology‑driven business solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to understand, analyse and document business requirements.
• Perform detailed business and systems analysis across asset management processes and systems, including As‑Is and To‑Be analysis, process mapping and gap analysis.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional and system specifications and support solution design.
• Work closely with developers, technical teams and solution architects to ensure requirements are understood and delivered.
• Facilitate workshops, identify system impacts, dependencies, risks and opportunities, and support testing activities including UAT.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Asset Management or Financial Services.
• Strong systems analysis experience with complex enterprise systems and business processes.
• Excellent requirements gathering, analysis and documentation skills, including process mapping and gap analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders, facilitate workshops and collaborate with technical teams.
• Experience with system integration, interfaces and data flows is advantageous.
