About the role
The Operations Trainer is responsible for delivering soft‑skill, product and technical training to operational business units within WNS South Africa. You will support new hires, up‑skill existing staff and ensure training quality across the call‑center environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct new‑starter, refresher, up‑skilling and cross‑skilling training sessions.
- Complete assessments for all training events and provide remedial support before re‑assessment.
- Maintain learner records, attendance registers and update the operational skills matrix.
- Prepare and submit annual training reports and other administrative documentation.
Required profile
- Grade 12/Matric; tertiary qualification in training and development is a plus.
- Train‑the‑trainer certification preferred.
- 3+ years experience in a call‑center environment (advantageous) and at least 1 year in Learning & Development.
- Intermediate computer literacy, especially MS Office.
Required skills
- High proficiency in delivering impactful training and facilitation.
- Strong planning, organizing and time‑management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication.
- Exceptional attention to detail and administrative accuracy.
