About the role

Join Takealot Group Advertising as an Account Manager – Advertising, driving the adoption of our self‑service advertising platform among Marketplace sellers. You will work closely with sellers, internal teams and the sales lead to deliver impactful advertising campaigns.

Key responsibilities

  • Promote and increase usage of Takealot’s Sponsored Advertising platform.
  • Analyse sales and advertising data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide sellers with data‑driven insights, recommendations and media plans.
  • Coordinate asset collection, campaign integration into the marketing calendar and ensure timely delivery.
  • Oversee billing, payment processes and monitor campaign performance.
  • Meet and exceed advertising sales targets.
  • Support Marketplace Account Managers and develop seller acquisition strategies.
  • Gather seller feedback and collaborate with product and CRM teams to enhance the platform.
  • Contribute to promotional material, webinars and case studies.

  • Solution‑oriented, self‑starter with a strong thirst for knowledge.
  • Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to meet tight deadlines.
