Work‑At‑Heights Technician & Facilitator

About the role

We are seeking an energetic, hands‑on Work‑At‑Heights Technician and Facilitator to join our client’s team in Germiston. The role combines installation of permanent lifeline systems, on‑site client interaction and delivery of safety training in a fast‑paced technical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install and maintain permanent lifeline and fall‑protection solutions at client sites.
• Conduct work‑at‑heights training sessions and LOBO system demonstrations.
• Perform site surveys, identify client requirements and compile handover documentation.
• Inspect, service and record the condition of work‑at‑heights equipment.
• Support training operations, maintain training kits and tools, and provide professional client service both on‑site and at head office.
• Travel to various client locations as required.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 or relevant NQF qualification.
• At least 2 years experience in a similar role with fall‑protection installation.
• Valid South African driver’s licence.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and professional communication.
• Tertiary safety qualification or safety‑related background is advantageous.

Required skills

• Work‑at‑Heights certification.
• Fall‑protection installation expertise.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with LOBO system demonstrations (preferred).
