Webmaster – Manage and Optimize Brand Websites

About the role

We are looking for a skilled and detail‑oriented Webmaster to oversee the performance, security and visual appeal of our suite of brand websites. You will collaborate with marketing, e‑commerce and design teams to ensure digital experiences drive customer engagement and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and overall performance of company websites.
• Implement regular updates, enhancements and new features.
• Ensure sites are responsive, fast‑loading and optimized across all devices.
• Monitor analytics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website errors.
• Manage content updates in partnership with marketing and design.
• Support platforms such as Adobe Ecommerce Platform and Akeneo, handling configurations and day‑to‑day operational support.
• Maintain SEO best practices, conduct website audits and resolve UX, accessibility and SEO issues.
• Ensure data‑privacy compliance (e.g., POPIA, GDPR) and apply cybersecurity best practices.
• Stay informed on emerging web technologies, trends and tools relevant to retail and e‑commerce.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in website management and web development.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
