Web Developer – .NET, Angular, Azure (Hybrid)

About the role

Our client seeks an experienced Web Developer to join their Pretoria (or Somerset West) office on a hybrid basis. You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade web applications using .NET, Angular and Azure services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance multi‑tiered .NET web applications and front‑end components.
• Implement RESTful and SOAP services, handling JSON and XML data exchanges.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate user stories into intuitive UI/UX.
• Maintain application security following OWASP guidelines.
• Participate in SDLC activities using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• 5‑10 years of hands‑on .NET C# development and at least 10 years front‑end experience.
• Proven ability to deliver multiple production releases per year.

Required skills

• .NET C# (VB advantageous)
• JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular (v6+), React, HTML5, CSS
• ASP.NET, IIS 7+, SOAP, RESTful services
• SQL Server (2008+), Azure SQL, Azure Cloud services
• Azure DevOps, Git, Visual Studio, SSMS, SoapUI, Postman
• Understanding of OWASP security principles
