About the role
We are looking for a talented and motivated Front‑End Developer to join our innovative team in Pretoria/Johannesburg. The role focuses on open‑source technologies, agile practices and delivering high‑quality user experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement and integrate client‑side software solutions.
- Create quality mock‑ups, prototypes and ensure brand consistency.
- Collaborate with back‑end developers on APIs, troubleshoot and fix bugs.
- Maintain workflow using GitHub and perform UI testing.
- Stay up‑to‑date with emerging front‑end technologies.
Required profile
- 3‑5 years of experience as a Front‑End Developer.
- Degree or diploma in Multi‑Media or related field (desirable).
- Experience working in a Linux environment and familiarity with Agile practices.
- Strong understanding of layout aesthetics and the full software development lifecycle.
Required skills
- JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JSON.
- SQL or PostgreSQL (advantageous).
- Bootstrap, Knockout, jQuery.
- Cordova/Ionic (advantageous).
- Node.js (advantageous).
