Web Developer & AI Search Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are building a fast‑moving marketing and web team that launches and scales online presences for window‑film and glass shops across the United States. The role blends web development with modern AI‑driven search optimisation, so you will create clean, mobile‑friendly sites and make sure they are discovered by both classic search engines and next‑generation AI assistants.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and launch responsive WordPress sites using Elementor or similar page builders.
• Apply HTML/CSS tweaks to customise templates and ensure ultra‑fast load times.
• Implement technical SEO best practices: schema markup, Core Web Vitals, site speed and crawlability.
• Set up and optimise Google Business Profiles and local citations to improve map‑pack rankings.
• Optimise content and site architecture for AI‑driven answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) to secure local recommendations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience building WordPress sites and managing SEO projects.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating clean, mobile‑first designs.
• Solid understanding of technical SEO, schema markup and page‑speed optimisation.
• Active interest or experience with generative engine optimisation (AEO/GEO).
