Wealth Planner (Advice & Sales)

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Wealth Planner to join our Johannesburg team. The role focuses on building and managing a client portfolio by providing professional financial advice and sales support. You will work in a performance‑driven environment with access to comprehensive training and mentorship from experienced colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow a personal client portfolio through networking, prospecting, and referrals.
• Conduct in‑person and virtual meetings to assess clients' financial needs.
• Perform detailed financial needs analyses and deliver tailored advice.
• Assist clients in achieving their financial goals while protecting and growing their wealth.
• Handle client queries, complaints, and conduct regular portfolio reviews.
• Maintain accreditation and stay updated on market and industry developments, complying with the FAIS Act.

Required profile

• Matric qualification (minimum) with a tertiary qualification preferred.
• At least three years of full‑time work experience, preferably in an external sales environment.
• Strong networking, prospecting, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a larger team.
• Clear credit and criminal record, a valid driver’s licence, and a reliable personal laptop.

Required skills

• Knowledge of financial advisory principles and the FAIS Act.
