Wealth Adviser / Financial Planner Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a Wealth Adviser / Financial Planner Assistant to join our office in Somerset West. The successful candidate will support financial advisers by handling administrative tasks, processing client transactions and assisting with basic financial planning activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for financial planning and investment processes.
• Prepare statements of advice and ensure accurate production of client portfolio review documents and reports.
• Gather policy information, capture data and compile client summaries.
• Manage onboarding, new business, service requests and compliance documentation.
• Handle client enquiries, process new applications and quotations.
• Maintain CRM systems and uphold service level agreements.
• Support advisers in meeting FAIS, FICA and other compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Finance, Business Finance, Investments, Financial Planning or related degree (RE5 advantageous).
• Minimum three years’ experience in the financial services or wealth industry.
• South African citizenship.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using CRM systems.
• Strong attention to detail for data capture and documentation.
• Knowledge of FAIS and FICA compliance standards.
