Warranty Clerk

About the role

We are looking for a Warranty Clerk to process and submit warranty claims for vehicle repairs, ensuring compliance with manufacturer policies. The role involves close collaboration with technicians, service advisors and warranty providers.

Key responsibilities

• Process and submit warranty claims.
• Verify whether repairs are covered under the vehicle’s warranty.
• Check repair orders, diagnostic reports, parts, labour, and technician notes.
• Obtain and maintain required documentation and authorization.
• Communicate with technicians, service advisors, manufacturers, and warranty companies.
• Track claim statuses, rejected claims, and outstanding payments.
• Correct and resubmit rejected or incomplete claims.
• Maintain accurate warranty records and filing.
• Assist with warranty audits and resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good administrative and organisational skills.
• Basic understanding of vehicle parts and repair procedures.

Required skills

• Computer literacy and experience with dealership systems.
• Ability to work with invoices, codes, labour times, and financial records.
• Understanding of manufacturer warranty policies.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle parts and repair procedures.
