Warehouse Operations Supervisor

About the role

Albatross Food is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead its fast‑paced FMCG distribution centre in Cape Town. You will be responsible for ensuring that all warehouse activities run smoothly, from receiving stock to dispatching orders for next‑day delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage order processing, picking and dispatch to guarantee accurate, on‑time deliveries.
• Train, coach and up‑skill warehouse staff to improve productivity and compliance.
• Identify bottlenecks and make timely decisions to maintain workflow and service levels.
• Optimise warehouse layout for receiving, storage, picking and stock counts.
• Oversee incoming stock, ensuring correct receipt, storage and space utilisation.

Required profile

• Willingness to work Monday to Saturday (Saturday 08:00‑13:00).
• Proven experience supervising warehouse operations in an FMCG, wholesale or distribution environment.
• Strong organisational, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven setting.
