Warehouse Manager

About the role

The pharmaceutical company is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead its Johannesburg branch in Meadowdale. You will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse activities, ensuring compliance with SAHPRA regulations, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Oversee receipt of goods, order processing, distribution and ensure efficient warehouse workflows.
• Supervise warehouse staff, manage leave, discipline and policy compliance in collaboration with HR.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
• Collaborate with the Responsible Pharmacist, General Manager and National Operations Manager to identify efficiency gains.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments and promptly resolve operational issues.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management.
• Qualification in logistics, business administration or related field is advantageous.
• Good physical health, valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Pastel accounting software (non‑negotiable).
• Above‑average skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
