About the role
Absolute Pets, the leading premium pet food and accessories retailer in South Africa, is seeking a Warehouse Driver for its Pinetown, Durban warehouse. You will be responsible for delivering stock to stores across the region, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Key responsibilities
- Depart the warehouse by 09:00 each weekday with the vehicle loaded according to the delivery route.
- Load and verify all food items, ensuring correct stock is delivered to each store.
- Assist store staff in checking deliveries in the driver’s presence.
- Handle products carefully to minimise damage during loading and off‑loading.
- Report any discrepancies, vehicle damages or breakages to the warehouse manager promptly.
- Return stock to the warehouse, verify against IBT documents and note any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and tidy delivery vehicle at all times.
Required profile
- Possession of a Code 10 licence with PDP.
- Proven experience as a delivery vehicle driver.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
