Warehouse Controller

About the role

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Warehouse Controller to lead day‑to‑day warehouse operations. In this role you will coordinate inbound, outbound, inventory and administrative teams, ensuring smooth execution and high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage daily operational activities of warehouse staff.
• Oversee inbound, outbound, inventory and administrative processes.
• Drive operational efficiency, space utilisation and productivity.
• Monitor and achieve contractual KPIs and SLA requirements.
• Lead and develop teams, fostering a safe and compliant work environment.
• Participate in stock counts, including planning, preparation and physical counting.
• Handle HR issues and industrial relations as needed.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification; tertiary logistics or business qualification is desirable.
• Approximately 2 years of logistics/warehousing experience.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate data capture.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to health and safety procedures and hazard identification.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting dashboards.
