Warehouse Assistant

About the role

The Warehouse Assistant prepares, picks and packs bill‑of‑material packaging, monitors stock levels and supports quality‑control and inventory processes within the warehouse.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare bill‑of‑material packaging such as bags and buckets.
• Pick and pack materials according to production orders.
• Maintain adequate stock of packaging supplies and monitor inventory levels.
• Control and manage barcodes, ensuring correct labeling for stock‑take.
• Perform quality checks on printed tags and handle blank order items.
• Receive incoming stock, apply FIFO shelving and record activities in Excel.
• Report any product complaints to the pharmacovigilance department within the required timeframe.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• High work standards and good judgement.
• Ability to multi‑task and work under pressure.
• Team player who can also work unsupervised.
• Computer literate and able to follow instructions.
