Driver/Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a reliable, versatile and hardworking Driver/Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate must be comfortable performing both driving and supervisory responsibilities and be willing to assist wherever required. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is responsible, hands‑on and able to work well with people while ensuring that daily operations run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly as required.
• Transport staff, equipment, cleaning materials and other items to and from various sites.
• Conduct vehicle checks and ensure company vehicles are kept clean and well maintained.
• Supervise and coordinate staff at assigned sites.
• Ensure staff are performing their duties correctly and maintaining company standards.
• Assist with staff scheduling, attendance and daily operational requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and report any issues to management.
• Maintain cleaning and service standards consistently.
• Assist with training and guidance of staff where required.
• Handle client and site‑related queries professionally.
• Perform operational tasks and general duties as needed, including overtime, weekends and public holidays.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with management.

Required profile

• Valid Code 8 driver’s licence.
• Previous driving experience (essential).
• Previous supervisory or team‑leading experience (advantageous).
• Cleaning experience (advantageous but not essential).
• Matric/Grade 12 qualification preferred.
• Reliable, punctual and well presented.
• Honest, trustworthy with sober habits.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• Flexible and willing to perform both driving and supervisory duties.
• Professional attitude when dealing with clients and staff.
• No criminal record and traceable references required.
