Warehouse Assistant

About the role

The Warehouse Assistant will support Volvo Trucks' parts warehouse, ensuring that inbound and outbound processes meet Volvo standards and contribute to high customer satisfaction and aftermarket profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and record incoming goods accurately, following Volvo procedures and KPI timelines.
• Process outbound customer orders, handling picking, packing, and dispatch while keeping the inventory system up‑to‑date.
• Check and file credit notes, ensuring correct processing and compliance with part return rules.
• Conduct daily perpetual stock counts and bin verifications, investigating any discrepancies before system updates.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including proper waste collection and perimeter security.
• Handle exchange parts according to agreed standards, manage physical receipt, storage, and preparation of supplier/core returns.
• Support health and safety practices throughout the warehouse.

Required profile

• Experience in warehouse or parts logistics operations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.
• Capability to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Commitment to maintaining a tidy, safe working environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with inventory management systems (e.g., GDS).
