Warehouse and Planning Manager

About the role

The Warehouse and Planning Manager will oversee the efficient operation of finished‑goods, local and imported merchandise, and raw‑materials warehouses. The role ensures high‑quality customer service through accurate, fast loading, and coordinates daily transport planning to support production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain smooth operation of all warehouse zones, including raw‑material receipt, storage, and finished‑goods dispatch.
• Conduct stock takes, cycle counts and manage blocked‑stock reporting.
• Ensure compliance with ICRF Business Governance, factory regulations, EHS legislation and ISO management standards.
• Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for raw‑material handling and storage.
• Prevent service failures using the SFA management system and drive continuous improvement in warehouse efficiency.
• Plan and coordinate daily transport requirements and support inbound/outbound logistics.
• Lead the warehouse team to meet customer‑service, waste‑reduction and scrapping targets.

Required profile

• Matric completed and a degree in Transport/Logistics or Supply Chain.
• 5‑7 years of experience in warehousing or logistics, with at least 2 years in a warehouse environment.
• Strong communication skills, proactive attitude and ability to lead a team.
• Computer literate with advanced use of MS Office and SAP (ERP).
• Good knowledge of ISO standards, GMP and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) practices.
