VoIP & Telecom Technical Support Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a VoIP & Telecom Technical Support Specialist to deliver first‑level support for healthcare clients. You will troubleshoot, configure, and maintain VoIP, telecom, and networking solutions to ensure reliable communication across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide phone, email, and ticket‑based support for hosted/cloud phone systems, legacy PBX, POTS lines, and eFax services.
• Configure and troubleshoot Grandstream devices, VitalPBX, Adtran Session Border Controllers, and other VoIP platforms.
• Manage user requests such as password resets, extension changes, voicemail, and call forwarding.
• Diagnose VoIP outages, SIP/RTP issues, and physical fax line problems.
• Coordinate with ISPs and field technicians when required.
• Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and customer interactions.
• Escalate complex cases to senior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge bases.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of technical support experience in telecommunications or VoIP.
• Strong networking knowledge, preferably with a CCNA certification or equivalent.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
