USA Healthcare Recruiter – Cape Town

About the role

We are looking for an experienced USA Healthcare Recruiter to join our Cape Town office. The role focuses on sourcing, screening, and placing Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and Caregivers with healthcare facilities across the United States. You will work US business hours and manage the full recruitment cycle for high‑volume nursing and caregiving positions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for US nursing and caregiving roles.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, job boards and specialised healthcare databases.
• Conduct structured interviews to assess clinical experience, soft skills and suitability for US placements.
• Verify licences, certifications, employment history and references.
• Guide candidates through US compliance, credentialing and visa processes where applicable.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified nurses and carers.
• Coordinate interviews with US‑based hiring managers and staffing partners.
• Update ATS records accurately and meet monthly placement targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of recruitment experience, including 1‑2 years recruiting for the US healthcare market.
• Proven track record placing nurses or carers in US facilities.
• Strong understanding of US nursing and caregiving roles, licensing bodies and compliance requirements.
• Based permanently in South Africa and able to work US time zones on‑site in Cape Town.
