US Recruitment Researcher (Remote, South Africa)

About the role

Our client, an international recruitment specialist, is seeking a proactive US Recruitment Researcher to build high‑quality talent pipelines for US hiring projects. Working remotely from South Africa, you will focus on identifying, mapping and assessing Facilities Technician talent across Texas, enabling US consultants to engage qualified candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct targeted market mapping to locate qualified Facilities Technician candidates in designated Texas locations.
• Source candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, company websites and other online research tools.
• Build and maintain accurate candidate lists that meet the agreed search criteria.
• Record candidate information in the provided tracking system or spreadsheet.
• Prioritise candidates based on project briefs and quality criteria.
• Pass shortlisted candidates to the Harper Harrison Austin team for qualification and engagement.
• Maintain high standards of data accuracy and attention to detail.
• Meet daily and weekly sourcing targets while ensuring candidate quality.
• Collaborate closely with the project lead, responding quickly to feedback and refining searches as hiring priorities evolve.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Researcher, Resourcer, Talent Sourcer or Recruitment Researcher.
• Strong candidate sourcing and Boolean search capabilities.
• Proven ability to assess CVs against technical job requirements.
• Experience building talent pipelines rather than managing full recruitment cycles.
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent written communication skills.
